Alumni and Supporters
Magdalene Members can be found in every corner of the globe and we run a very active events programme during the year to keep in touch and offer opportunities to reconnect to Magdalene.
Last year alone over 1300 Members generously supported the College by helping us to fund bursaries and scholarships, invest in teaching and research whilst also upgrading our facilities and maintaining our heritage buildings for which we are extremely grateful.
After graduation Members become alumni of the College and the University of Cambridge. The College offers a number of benefits to its non-resident Members, including dining rights, guest tooms, and punt hire.
Following the successful completion of the Future Foundations Campaign we continue to raise funds to secure undergraduate bursaries, support postgraduate students, strengthen mental health provision and looking ahead, to restore the iconic Pepys Building.
Alumni Events and Reunions
The College organises events throughout the year, ranging from Reunion Dinners to garden parties, networking events and lectures. Some of these, like the popular reunion dinners, take place in College, but there are a number of regional and international events for Members living outside the UK.
The Magdalene community is active and very friendly. Our alumni networks offer Members the chance to stay in touch with Magdalene, to make new friends and catch up with old ones, network with fellow professionals, meet current students and Fellows, and to enjoy the varied events programme.
From Magdalene Teddies, Sam and Peeps (!), to College ties, cufflinks, handbag mirrors and mugs featuring the College grace: you will find a variety of Magdalene merchandise available to purchase.
Keep up with the latest news from Magdalene in our print publications, Magdalene Matters, The College Magazine and the Annual Campaign Report. Read online or download past issues.
