Magdalene College Chapel

Chapel

The Chapel is at the heart of the College.

The Chapel is at the heart of the College. All are welcome to this beautiful place, now in its 55th decade, to sit and pray, or just to seek some quiet amid its peace.

The Chapel is a living place that brings the College community together in reflection and offers Christian worship and prayer open to all. Chapel services and events offer space for belonging, beauty, enquiry and growth and are inclusive, open to all of any faith or perspective.

The College is pleased to welcome members of the public to Sunday and weekday services – please just turn up. (Chaplaincy events and discussions listed in the Term Card are for Magdalene Members only.)

About the Chapel

Built in the 1470s, the Chapel embodies Magdalene's rich heritage, our patron saint's life is depicted in the East Window, while memorials commemorate missionaries, church leaders, teachers, and those who gave their lives in conflict.
