Dr Jostein Hauge
Official Fellow
Dr Jostein Hauge is a political economist and an Assistant Professor at the University of Cambridge, based at the Centre of Development Studies and the Department of Politics and International Studies. His research lies at the intersection between political economy and development economics, with a particular focus on economic development and industrialization in the Global South.
Dr Zach Bond isDirector of Studies for Chemical Engineering at Magdalene. Dr Bond is a member of the Combustion Group at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology. His research interests are in Bio-Energy with Carbon Capture and Storage specifically in the use of Chemical Looping technology.
Mr Richard Calvocoressi has spent nearly fifty years in the art world, first as a curator, then as director, in national collections of modern art including the Tate and the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art. He has been director of the Henry Moore Foundation and latterly as a senior curator at the Gagosian Gallery London.
Professor Peter Adler, is a graduate of Magdalene (1973). He teaches International Law at Vermont Law School and International Law, Business Law, and International Business at the University of Massachusetts. He has published numerous law review articles. Before going into academics he worked as an Assistant Vice President at an international bank and as a partner in a law firm.
Professor Siran Liu earned his PhD from University College London, Institute of Archaeology, and is now a faculty member in the field of archaeomaterial studies at the University of Science and Technology Beijing. His research focuses on the application of advanced scientific techniques and data-driven methodologies for the analysis of archaeological materials.
Professor Vasuki Nesiah is Professor of Practice in Human Rights and International Law at the Gallatin School, at New York University. She is a core faculty member at the Institute for Global Law and Policy (IGLP) at Harvard Law School and teaches annually in IGLP workshops. Professor Nesiah has published extensively on the history and politics of international law, human rights, transnational feminism, reparations and decolonization.
