Supporting your College
The Future Foundations Campaign for Magdalene has now closed and we have had a fantastic response from Members and Friends. Thank you!
We are enormously grateful to everyone who helped to make it such a success and enabled the College to realise its vision of building a state-of-the-art award-winning New Library which will benefit generations of students and researchers for many years to come.
We also raised funds to support undergraduate bursaries (with help from the Harding Challenge), support postgraduate students and our work to do more in these areas continues. We are also focussing on strengthening teaching and the pastoral resources available to our students given the unprecedented events of the past two years. We are working to do yet more for our students in terms of offering support for those struggling with their mental health and for this reason have created a new Student Welfare and Mental Health Fund.
Looking further ahead, we are currently planning to restore the iconic Pepys Building and work is underway on this project. Please do contact the Development Director if you wish to discuss the Pepys Restoration Project.
We continue to support students and academic staff who may suddenly face unexpected and exceptional financial difficulties and to raise gifts for the Unrestricted Funds to enable the Senior Bursar to respond to immediate pressing needs swiftly and generously. Thank you very much for choosing to continue to support us particularly at this economically challenging time. Every single gift makes a very real difference to Magdalene.
The College has thrived on the generosity of supporters over the centuries and more Members and Friends are supporting the College today than ever before.
