Tutorial Support
All students at Magdalene are assigned a College Tutor as a first point of contact for help, advice, and pastoral support. The Tutors are supported by a pastoral team including the College Nurse, Counsellor, Chaplain, and the staff of the Tutorial Office.
Health and Wellbeing
The College Nurse and Head of Student Wellbeing are available to support any students who are unwell, or who are concerned about their health and wellbeing. This section also contains a range of other resources, including confidential helplines.
Disabled Students
A disability may be physical, be unseen, relate to mental health, or be a Specific Learning Difficulty. The College works closely with the University's Disability Resource Centre to ensure that students have the support, equipment, and facilities required.
Financial Hardship
It is not unusual for students to experience financial hardship during their studies. If a student does find themselves struggling to make ends meet, especially is the hardship is unforeseen, then there are a number of sources of financial support.
Matters of Faith
There are a large number of religious traditions represented in Cambridge. This section contains information to help students connect with other members of their faith, and has a range of other resources for those exploring life's big questions.
Study Skills
Do you need to hone your essay-writing skills, or work on your time management? There are a range of sources of advice and support in the College and in the wider University. For help with writing, the College has a dedicated Writing Fellow.
Careers Guidance
A Cambridge education helps open up a wealth of possibilities for life after Graduation. Useful sources of information and advice, as well as opportunities for networking and work experience are available through both the College and the University.
