Remembrance Sunday: College Act of Remembrance
Magdalene’s Act of Remembrance will take place in the College Chapel on Sunday 13 November at 6.00pm.
The last post will sound, silence will be kept and candles lit at our two War Memorials as we remember those from this College who died in the First and Second World Wars, and all who have died in conflict and given their lives in the service of others.
The preacher is our Senior Research Fellow, Professor David Fergusson OBE (2022), Regius Professor of Divinity, Cambridge, and Dean of the Chapel Royal, Scotland.
The Choir will sing Ireland’s Greater Love, and his canticles in F and the Dean of Chapel will lead prayers for peace.
The service is open to all, including to members of the public. All are invited to drinks after the service where there will be a chance to meet the preacher.
