Magdalene in London (MiL)

In recent years our annual dinners at the O&C Club, and our Magdalene in the City (MiC) and Magdalene Law Association (MLA) events, have been extremely popular with Members located both in and outside London. It is for this reason that we have decided to launch Magdalene in London (MiL), which will house the activities of our previous alumni networks (both the MiC and MLA).

As the range of professions in and around London is now wider than ever before, MiL will be an inclusive group, bringing together Members from a broad range of careers, from the traditional City professions of law and finance to journalism, broadcasting, teaching, entrepreneurship and much more!

MiL events aim to facilitate networking between Members and to encourage alumni to engage with each other and the College, particularly with those of different generations. As with MiC and MLA events. current Magdalene students will be provided with transport to MiL events by the College.

Each year, we host two MiL networking events at different locations across London. Previous events have been held in galleries, firms and clubs including talks at Google, the City University Club, a panel discussion with finance professionals at Barclays Wealth in Canary Wharf, a summer drinks party at ING Bank, and a Q&A session at the BT Centre.

We encourage all Members who would like to catch up with old friends or meet and network with Members to come along to a MiL event.
