Dr Zach Bond

Dr Zach Bond is a Fellow, Undergraduate Tutor and Director of Studies for Chemical Engineering at Magdalene.

After graduating from Magdalene in Chemical Engineering, Dr Bond completed a PhD in the Combustion group at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology. His research interests are in Bio-Energy with Carbon Capture and Storage, specifically in the use of Chemical Looping technology and fluidised beds to convert solid biomass to energy or synthesis gas with zero or net negative CO2 emissions. Now a teaching associate at the Department for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, Dr Bond is heavily involved in the development and delivery of the new Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology tripos.
