Information for Researchers

Researchers wishing to use the resources of the Old Library must contact us in advance, outlining their academic and research credentials and their need to consult specific items in our historic collections. Researchers of Old Library material are usually accommodated in the Pepys Library. 

Researchers are able to book appointments from 10-1pm and 2-5pm, Monday-Friday, on dates when the Pepys Library is open.
