25th and 50th Anniversary Reunion for 1997 and 1972 matriculands

-
The Master and Fellows are delighted to invite 1997 and 1972 matriculands to return to College to celebrate 25 and 50 years respectively since your matriculation at Magdalene.

This is a new initiative, and we very much hope that many of you will take the opportunity to reunite with your peers on Saturday 24th September 2022 to celebrate your silver and golden anniversaries. An enhanced reunion programme of afternoon lectures and tours has been devised to allow Members the opportunity to spend the afternoon in College, before attending a black-tie dinner in Hall in the evening.

The programme for the day is as follows:

  • From 11.00am: Check in for those who have booked accommodation in College.
  • From 2.00pm: Registration opens. Tea and coffee available.
  • 2.30-3.30pm: Afternoon activity (choice of a tour of the College gardens with the Head Gardener or a tour of the New Library with the Development Director)
  • 4.00-5.00pm: Afternoon activity (same options as above)
  • 6.15pm: Evensong in Chapel
  • 6.45pm: Pre-Dinner drinks
  • 7.30pm: Black tie dinner in Hall

We are pleased to let Members know that for this special anniversary reunion, the dinner is free of charge for attendees. Given the limited capacity of Hall, guests are unable to be accommodated on this occasion.

Accommodation

Bed and breakfast accommodation is available in College for the night of Saturday 24th September, at a special reunion price of £68. Please select the dinner and accommodation ticket when booking should you require a room.
