Undergraduate Accommodation at Magdalene College Cambridge

Undergraduate Accommodation

Magdalene guarantees accommodation to undergraduate students for all three or four years of their course.

Undergraduates are housed within the main College courts, in the ‘Village’ on the other side of Magdalene Street, or in college-owned houses a few minutes’ walk away. There are a few areas which are only occupied by first year students, and others which are only occupied by second, third, and fourth years, but in general undergraduate students from all year groups are mixed together in accommodation staircases and hostels, fostering Magdalene’s friendly and inclusive atmosphere.

Undergraduate students must be resident in their rooms for the entirety of each Full Term, and they may choose to stay in their rooms for the entirety of each Term. Undergraduates are not charged for their rooms during the vacation periods, but they must be prepared to remove their belongings from their rooms when they are not resident. For more information, please refer to the Accommodation Handbook.
